GOERTZEN, Robert Lloyd

Robert was born November 20, 1929 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota to Cornelius and Elizabeth Goertzen.

He joined the Air Force in 1948.

He participated in the Berlin Airlift and served in Vietnam.

He retired at Fairchild AFB in 1972.

He then worked for the State of Washington.

Robert married Jane Genrich in 1959.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Delna, and his brother Louis.

He is survived by his wife Jane, and sons Stephen (Susan), Timothy (Deborah), and David (Su), three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
The viewing is at Thornhill Valley Chapel, 1400 S. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, WA, February 29, 2016 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

The Funeral Service is Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 10:00 am at Thornhill Valley Chapel.

Interment is at Pines Cemetery and a reception follows at Hope Lutheran Church, 17909 E. Broadway Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99016
