James and Phyllis Stephens will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at Christmas with family.

The couple’s children and spouses are: Dr. Michael and Misty Stephens, Colbert; John and Andria Stephens, Gig Harbor, Washington; Bill and Jackie Stephens, Boulder, Colorado; and Thomas and Karin Stephens, Portland.

The couple were married June 11, 1966, in Spokane. They have 15 grandchildren.
