Washington State second baseman Trek Stemp was named to the All-Pac-12 Conference baseball team and two teammates received honorable mention nods, the conference announced Thursday.
Stemp, a redshirt junior, finished fifth in the Pac-12 with a .355 batting average and tied for second with 12 stolen bases. He had team highs of 65 hits and 32 runs despite missing WSU’s final nine games because of an injury.
Pitchers Ian Hamilton and Ryan Walker earned honorable mention spots. Hamilton, a junior, led the Cougars with 62 strikeouts and 87 innings in 15 starts. Walker, a sophomore, had the sixth-lowest earned-run average (2.66) in conference play.
