10 Under $10: Entertainment on a budget

1. Arbor Crest’s Stage2Stage Music Fest Noon-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Arbor Crest Wine Cellars, 4705 N. Fruit Hill Road, Spokane Valley. Fourth annual event of nonstop music. Noon-1:30 p.m., Karrie O’Neill plays acoustic pop/folk; 1:30-3:30 p.m., Butterscotch Blonde play jazz; 3:30-5:30 p.m., Haley Young and the Champagne Jam play soulful blues; 5:30-7:30 p.m., Grande Avenue play popular dance tunes. 2. Carillon concert 10:30 a.m. Sunday, 9 p.m. Monday, St. John’s Cathedral, 127 E. 12th Ave. Sunday, Wesley Arai will perform a special carillon prelude and postlude for the 10:30 a.m. church service. On Monday, he’ll perform as a prelude to the city’s fireworks display over Riverfront Park. Bring a folding chair or blanket and snacks. (509) 838-4277. Admission: FREE

3. Divides 7:30 p.m. Friday, the Big Dipper, 171 S. Washington St. The Divides are out on the “Above These Walls” tour, with help from Elephant Gun Riot, Ghost Heart, Winter in June and Coast Culture. (509) 863-8098. Admission: $6 advance, $10 door

4. “The Goonies” 7 p.m. Wednesday, Riverfront Park, Lilac Bowl, 507 N. Howard St. (just east of the Clocktower). Sean Astin and Josh Brolin star in a 1985 Richard Donner film about a group of misfits who, in order to save their home from foreclosure, set out to find a pirate’s ancient treasure. Rated PG. Seating opens at 7 p.m., movie at dusk. Live entertainment and trivia before the show and food vendors. Outside food and nonalcoholic beverages are permitted. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. 5. Banner Days 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, Sixth Street and Sherman Avenue, downtown Coeur d’Alene. The folk duo from Snohomish, Washington, travels across the Scablands to perform at Coeur d’Alene’s Live After Five music series. Up next: the Powers on July 13. (208) 339-0600. Admission: $5

6. Royal Jelly Jive 8 p.m. Wednesday, the Bartlett, 228 W. Sprague Ave. San Francisco-based seven-piece blends soul, rock, swing and hip-hop. 7. Tango Volcado 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Coeur d’Alene Park (Browne’s Addition), 2195 W. Second Ave. One of the region’s leading tango groups will kick off the 20th annual Browne’s Addition Summer Concert Series. Concerts will be from 6-8 p.m. Thurdays, through Aug. 25. 8. 3 Minute Mic 8 p.m. Friday, Auntie’s Bookstore, 402 W. Main Ave. Poetry open mic, hosted by Chris Cook with special guest Adriana Janovich, Food editor of The Spokesman-Review.
