Went to be with our Lord on February 29, 2016.
Douglass was born on May 15, 1943 in Astoria, OR to parents John and Bernice.
He lived in Spokane for the last 30+ years.
Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Bev; sister, Jan; and his four children, Carla (husband Dave), Kim (husband Steve), Douglass Jr., and John (wife Anissa).
Doug was also blessed with 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Doug is retired Air Force TSgt and retired MHT from Eastern State Hospital.
He enjoyed more than anything being with his family.
He loved camping, watching the Seahawks, traveling with Bev, and entertainment at the casino.
We will always remember how Doug enjoyed conversing with every person he came into contact with, usually talking about his family who he was so proud of.
A viewing will be held Friday, March 4 from 11-12 at Hennessey Funeral Home, 2203 N. Division St., followed by burial at the Veteran’s Cemetery.
A reception later will be at the Longhorn BBQ in Airway Heights from 2-5:30 pm.
