Of Spokane Valley, WA, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went home to her Lord Jesus on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
Betty was born on June 18, 1939 in Brownsville, TN to Thomas (deceased) and Virginia (deceased) Vest.
She was preceded in death by a brother William, sister Fay, and sister Lavona.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jerry Sponseller; daughter Jennifer Pecha; grandson Alex (seven) and granddaughter Leah (three); brother Jesse Vest, Cunce, TN; sister Geneva Land, FL; and sister May Crosse, Walls, MS.
Betty dedicated her life to the Lord, serving faithfully as a pastor’s wife for over 35 years.
She loved helping others and touched many lives.
She loved camping, cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.
Services will be held at Opportunity Baptist Church, 13620 E. Broadway, Spokane Valley, WA 99216 at 11:00am on Saturday, March 12, 2016.
