6. Crimson Reads: A Celebration of WSU Authors 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, State University, Terrell Library atrium, Pullman. Part of WSU Showcase, the annual celebration of faculty, staff and student excellence, recognizing them and retired university community members who have authored, co-authored or edited a book, including e-books, within the past year. Authors are William Stimson (“Instilling Spirit: Students and Citizenship at Washington State, 1892-1942”), Joan Grenier-Winther, who has translated the 14th century poems of Oton de Granson, and Sue Armitage (“Shaping the Public Good: Women Making History in the Pacific Northwest”).
