KOSEK, Emma Hilzer

Passed away March 4, 2016 in Ritzville.
She was born to Henry and Katherine Hilzer in Ritzville on January 31, 1917.
She graduated Ritzville schools in 1935.
She married Ben Kosek in Bremerton, WA, and they never had children.
They lived on the coast until Ben’s death in 1979.
Emma then returned to Ritzville where she lived the rest of her life.
She spent her free time working in her yard and crafting such as: quilting with the Lutheran women, crocheting and knitting.
Emma was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, staying an active part of the church as long as she could.
She had a love for children and pets; donating to many charities benefiting both.
She is preceded in death by all of her siblings.
Survivors include her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services were held March 14 at Emanuel Lutheran Church and Burial was at Emanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
