Charlotte Marian Glockhoff Grymonprez celebrated her 100th birthday on March 24. She was born March 24, 1916, in Milan, Illinois. She currently calls Spokane home and has lived in Eastern Washington for 25 years.

Grymonprez met her husband, Joseph, in Illinois. They were married in 1950.

Grymonprez spent her professional career as a teacher. Her most memorable moment in history in the past 100 years was the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

She credits her longevity to honesty and hard work.
