Mr.

Robert Freeman Dickens of Spokane, WA passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016.

Robert was born on August 22, 1943 in Sitka, AK.

A life-long resident of Spokane, he graduated from Shadle Park High School in 1961 and attended Whitworth University.

Robert is survived by his wife, Janice (Hunt) of Spokane; his sons, Michael Dickens of Spokane and Todd Dickens of Portland, OR; his daughter, Allison Borders (Dickens) of Shalimar, FL; step-daughter, Kimberly Kutzke (Cassel) of Carnation, WA; sister Michaele Hosea of Silverdale, WA and 9 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father Floyd F. Dickens and his mother Phyllis V. Shaw (Green), brother Rodney, and step-son, Christopher Cassel.

At his request, there will be no service.

The family will hold a private gathering in his memory at Priest Lake, ID at a later date.
