1. Custer’s Christmas Arts & Crafts Show 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, 404 N. Havana St., Spokane Valley. 2. Santa’s Arrival at River Park Square 6 p.m. Friday, River Park Square, 808 W. Main Ave. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. with free face painting, hot chocolate, bells and candy canes. They are used to their way of living; always dark, depressing and morbid. That is, until something steps in the way… Wednesday is engaged. 8. 2016 BRRC Turkey Trot 9 a.m. Thursdsay, Manito Park, Mirror Pond, 1702 S. Grand Blvd. Sponsored by the Bloomsday Road Runners Club to collect food and cash for Second Harvest Food Bank. Runners/walkers have the option of 2-, 3- or 5-mile routes. No registration or entry fee, but you must sign waiver. Please no pets on the course.
