Woody Allen’s “Café Society” is a love story wrapped in a wry comedy of celebrity and glamor in 1930s Hollywood and New York City. Jesse Eisenberg, Kristen Stewart, and Steve Carell star. PG-13. Also on DVD and Blu-ray and at Redbox.

True stories: “Being George Clooney” (2016) looks at voice actors who dub American movies for foreign audiences (not rated).

“Louder Than Bombs” (2015) is a drama of loss and grief with Jesse Eisenberg and Isabelle Huppert (R).
Foreign affairs: from France come the dramas “For a Woman” (2013, not rated) and “Marie’s Story” (2014, not rated) and Eric Rohmer classics “Full Moon in Paris” (1984, R) and “The Marquise of O…” (1976, PG). All subtitled.
