Bonner County Sheriff looking for homicide suspect Nathan Utt
The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office is searching for homicide suspect Nathan Lane Utt, 41.
Deputies were called to a home on Trestle Creek Road near Hope, Idaho, around 5 p.m. Wednesday for an unresponsive elderly women who was discovered by her husband. The woman, whose name has not been released, was dead.
The Sheriff’s Office has identified Utt as a suspect in the case. He’s a transient known to frequent food banks and soup kitchens in the Sandpoint area. He is 6’ 1” tall and 180 pounds. He is possibly wearing a blue jacket or green trench coat and usually carries a backpack.
Utt is considered armed and dangerous, the Sheriff’s Office said. Anyone with information on his location or who may have given him a ride in the Trestle Creek area is asked to call 911.
Utt has several previous convictions for drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia as well as convictions for first-degree stalking and second-degree stalking.
