Calvin Jackson Jr. follows Derek Sage to Washington State

PULLMAN – Calvin Jackson Jr. first committed to Derek Sage when the current Washington State inside receivers coach was at Toledo.
Jackson, a Coral Springs, Florida, native, ended up at Independence Community College while Sage made his way to Pullman. When Jackson got the opportunity to be recruited again, he wasted no time joining Sage at WSU.
Jackson announced the decision with a Twitter post.
It read, “After hard thought and talking to my parents and coaches I am more than happy to announce that I am committed to Washington State University #GoCougs #AirRaid #Pac-12 #HHLB,” along with a couple of graphic elements.
Jackson will have a redshirt year available and can play two years for the Cougars. He is the third known recruit to have committed to WSU in the 2018 recruiting class, joining outside linebackers Tyree Wilson and Victor Terry.
