Time is running out to register for Bloomsday

Time is running out fast for walkers and joggers who want to sign up to participate in the 12k stroll through Spokane otherwise known as Bloomsday.

This year’s race is set for May 7. The deadline for mailed in registration is already past, but people can still sign up online at the lower $18 early registration fee until Sunday. There is a $1.99 processing fee. After Sunday people can still sign up online through April 30 for a higher $35 fee plus a $3.89 processing fee. Visit www.bloomsdayrun.org to sign up.

If you procrastinate past April 30, your only option will be to show up at the Bloomsday check-in on May 5 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. or May 6 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Spokane Convention Center, 334 W. Spokane Falls Blvd. The late entry fee is $35.
