Area men: Levi Taylor goes for 31 points and CC Spokane downs Yakima Valley

CC Spokane 98, Yakima Valley 76: Levi Taylor scored 31 points with 11 rebounds and the visiting Sasquatch (20-4, 9-2) handled the Yaks (8-14, 2-8) in Northwest Athletic Conference play.

Garrett Hull scored 19 points, George Williams had 14 and George Pilimai added 10 for CCS. The Sasquatch shot 43 percent overall and hit 9 of 24 on 3-point attempts and 19 of 23 from the line.

Terrance White and Keyshawn Webb scored 17 points apiece for Yakima Valley.

North Idaho 89, Treasure Valley 81: Zaequan Satterthwaite scored 21 points with 12 rebounds and the visiting Cardinals (20-3, 8-2) outlasted the Chukars (12-10, 5-6).

Satterthwaite went 9 of 12 from the field and NIC shot 52.5 percent for the game. Sam Dowd scored 20 points, Markus Golder had 19 and Adam Gotelli added 11.

Hunter Bailey paced TVCC with 27 points, Tyus Jefferson had 17 and Jaden Vaughn scored 14.

NIC, which won its fifth in a row, outrebounded Treasure Valley 41-29.
