Former Civic Theatre actor sent to prison for child molestation
A former Spokane Civic Theatre actor was sentenced to 15 months in prison Friday for molesting a teen he met through the theater group.
Carl L. Vincent, 57, pleaded guilty to child molestation in January. In addition to his prison term he will serve 36 months probation and have to register as a sex offender.
Vincent was a friend of the teen’s family and molested him while driving him home from rehearsals in the summer and fall of 2014, when the boy was 15 and 16, according to court documents. Both Vincent and the family had been involved with Civic Theatre for years.
Vincent had no previous criminal history.
