Engineering

Jeff Nett has been hired at DCI Engineers as a senior CAD designer. Nett graduated from Whitworth University with a bachelor’s degree in organizational management and is working on the Rocky Reach Bridge Crane project in Wenatchee and the WHB Water Tank and Storage Building in Warden, Washington.

Parametrix has hired Alex Sylvain, PE as senior engineer in its Spokane office. Sylvain has 12 years experience as a civil engineer and will be responsible for management and design of water, wastewater, community building and transportation projects. He most recently worked at AECOM as an office and project manager.

Finance

R.W. Baird has announced that Sally Robinette has joined its Wealth Management office in Spokane. Robinette brings 29 years of experience to Baird.

Brett Hober has also joined R.W. Baird’s Spokane Wealth Management office. Hober has 20 years of experience.

Numerica recently hired Deanna Hildenbrand as assistant vice president for marketing and communication and Rick Dahmen as external senior loan officer in the home loan center. Hildenbrand specializes in brand strategy, marketing management and corporate communications. She has over 21 years experience and was most recently at Chapter & Verse advertising. Dahmen has 17 years experience in the lending field and skilled in new residential construction lending.

Wells Fargo has announced Heidi Horobiowski as a business development officer. She brings 10 years of experience and will be responsible for advocating on behalf of Inland Northwest business banking customers by delivering commercial lending and cash management tools. Horobiowski began as a branch account executive at Wells Fargo.

Government

The Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce has elected and sworn in its new board of directors. Cathrene Nichols has been named administrator of the Regional Veterans Services Office in Spokane County. Nichols is an Army veteran and holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University. She was honored as Washington State’s Disabled Veterans Outreach Specialist of the Year in 2010 for implementing the Rural Veterans outreach Pilot Program.

Health care

Randy Oaks and Sarah Pierce have been named board members for Kootenai Health Foundation. Oaks is a co-owner of insurance company ISU Haddock and Associates and previously owned 3Acorn Insurance and was president and producer with Dickinson Insurance. He was named the Post Falls Citizen of the Year in 2015. Pierce is a certified registered nurse anesthetist and the first woman partner with Anesthesia Associates of Coeur d’Alene. She created the Pierce Family Scholarship to provide scholarships for employees at Kootenai Health seeking training opportunities to advance their careers.

Nonprofit

Karen Meier has been accepted for membership in the Spokane Downtown Rotary Club 21. Meier is the Scout Executive, Boy Scouts of America, Inland Northwest Council 611.

Matt Simmons, general manager of ISOutsource, Information Technology has also been accepted for membership in the Spokane Downtown Rotary Club 21.
