2. “Tribes” 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Spokane Falls Community College, 3410 W. Fort George Wright Drive, Building 5. A staged reading of Nina Raine’s award-winning 2010 play, which centers on Billy, who was raised deaf in a hearing family but who never learned sign language. When he meets a hearing woman raised by deaf parents who is herself going deaf, they grapple with notions of community and family. Proceeds benefit the SFCC Drama Club and The Cascade Artists. 4. Silver Skaters Jamboree 12:30 and 4:45 p.m. on Saturday and 9:45 a.m. Sunday, Eagles Ice-A-Rena, 6321 N. Addison St. The Silver Skaters of Spokane is a group of women hockey players who are 50 and older. This jamboree consists of three games. Participants are from Colorado, Idaho, Canada and Spokane. 5. Spokane Boat Show Saturday through Feb. 4; hours are Monday-Friday, noon-8 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Spokane County Fair and Expo Center, 404 N. 7. “From the Collection: Images about the American West,” through May 13, Monday-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Jundt Art Museum, Gonzaga University, 200 E. Desmet Ave. who has assembled more than 65 works, drawn predominantly from the Jundt permanent collection with a few paintings on special loan from a private collection. The artists whose works appear in this exhibition include Ansel Adams, Gustave Baumann, Luis Jiménez, Frank Tenney Johnson, Fritz Scholder, William Wendt, Andy Warhol.
