Police looking for Post Falls man following woman’s death

COEUR D’ALENE – Police are searching for a 61-year-old man following the shooting death of a woman in a hospital parking lot in Coeur d’Alene.

Coeur d’Alene police say Steven Denson, of Post Falls, is considered armed and dangerous. He’s being sought with an arrest warrant on a charge of first-degree murder.

Police say 37-year-old Kelly A. Pease’s body, with a gunshot wound to the head, was found Wednesday afternoon in a car parked at Kootenai Health.

Police say Denson is 6 feet tall and weighs 225 pounds. He was last seen driving a 2000 white Nissan Pathfinder.
