2. Spokane Symphony Classics 8: ‘The Russian Soul’

Featuring performances of Tomaso Albinoni’s Adagio in G minor for Organ and Strings (adapted by by Remo Giazotto), Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, with guest soloist Benjamin Beilman, and Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 9. Eckart Preu, conductor. The concert is presented in honor of symphony patron Dr. Elizabeth Welty and symphony pianist Kendall Feeney.

3. Chris Shiflett

When he’s not playing guitar for the Foo Fighters, Chris Shiflett traffics in old-school country rock that borrows from Bakersfield and honky tonk traditions. He’s hitting the Lilac City in support of his forthcoming album, “West Coast Town.” With Brain Whelan.

4. John Goulart

5. Lilac City Fairy Tales

6. Social Distortion

The landmark L.A. rockabilly punk band reportedly at work on a new album. In the meantime, they’re hitting road this spring, bringing songs such as “Ball and Chain” and their iconic cover of Johnny Cash’s “Ring of Fire” to fans. With guest Jade Jackson.

7. Alton Brown Live! ‘Eat Your Science’

Bringing his brand of quirky humor and culinary-science antics to the stage. A blend of stand-up comedy, food experimentation, talk show antics, multimedia lecture and more. Audience interaction is strictly enforced throughout the evening, though if you’re called upon as a culinary assistant you’ll definitely want to take the lab coat Brown offers, as things tend to get messy.
