Spokane students to be released early Friday

Spokane Public Schools students will be released 1 hour and 15 minutes early Friday, Dec. 1.

That will be the district’s fifth early-release Friday of 2017-18. The teacher contract, negotiated in 2016, calls for 12 early-release Fridays for peer collaboration throughout each school year.

The remaining early release dates are: Jan. 12, Feb. 2 and 23. March 2 and 16 and April 12 and 27.
