Alyssa Molina scored the game-winning penalty in the shootout and the Bears outlasted Richland 3-2 in a Washington 4A District 8 semifinal. Central Valley plays University in the district finals on November 4.

District 8 4A/3A cross country: Greater Spokane League dominates state-qualifying meets

Lindsey Russell dished out 31 assists for the Panthers and they swept Walla Walla to advance to the district championship next weekend.
