U.S. Sen. Mike Crapo is encouraging Idaho students to apply for internship opportunities in his Washington, D.C., office or one of his six regional offices throughout Idaho.

The application deadline for spring internships is Oct. 16.

The internship provides Idaho students with the opportunity to learn about Congress and the legislative process firsthand.

Interns will assist Crapo and his staff with legislative research, constituent services and communications operations.

They will also have the opportunity to attend congressional hearings and provide tours of the U.S. Capitol to visiting Idahoans.

Applications for internships in the Washington, D.C., office should be emailed to Katie Amacio at kathleen–amacio@crapo.senate.gov.

Applications for internships at one of Crapo’s Idaho offices should be emailed to Courtney Lehosit at courtney–lehosit@crapo.senate.gov.
