Morning prep roundup: Mt. Spokane football rolls to another impressive win

Brady Hill accounted for four touchdowns and Mt. Spokane (4-1) continued its impressive early-season run, topping Lewis and Clark (1-4) 38-17 in nonleague game at Albi Stadium that wasn’t as close as the final score might indicate.

The Wildcats rolled out to a 21-3 lead in the second quarter thanks to three consecutive touchdowns – including Hill’s 58-yard touchdown pass to Quentin Ayres and his 5-yard scoring run.

Hill finished with 197 yards passing with two touchdown tosses and 61 yards on the ground with another pair of scores.

If you missed it, outgoing preps writer Greg Lee filed his last Pick-Six on Thursday before hitting the dusty trail and he holds a one-game lead over Sam Adams before he turns over the reigns to someone with vastly inferior institutional knowledge – but is a quick learner.

Here’s a link to the full slate of prep sports action for Friday, including Gonzaga Prep facing Shadle Park in football at Albi Stadium.
