Weekend weather: Rain, rain, rain and did we mention … rain

Break out the books, coffee and blankets (or the Gortex, boots and umbrellas) because the end of this week and into the weekend is going to get rainy.

Thursday it will rain, according to the National Weather Service. The chance of precipitation is 100 percent with a high of 52 degrees. Rain will continue Thursday night with a low around 35 degrees. Just under an inch of rain is possible, Thursday.

Friday there is a 40 percent chance of rain with a high near 49 degrees. Wind is expected to be between 8 and 11 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Early Saturday morning there is a 20 percent chance of rain.

Rain and some wind will continue Saturday with a high near 56 degrees. Saturday night will be cloudy with a low near 40 degrees, the National Weather Service reports.
