Woman stabbed multiple times near Division Street motel

A woman was listed in serious condition Thursday night after sustaining multiple stab wounds near Al’s Spa Tub Motel at 1421 N. Division St.

Spokane police said they responded to the reported stabbing around 3:40 p.m., and the woman was transported to a local hospital.

One person has been detained and all involved parties have been contacted, police said. Names and details of the incident were not released.
