Medical Lake man sentenced 26 years for child rape

A Medical Lake man was sentenced to 26 years in prison Friday following a January conviction of child sex crimes.

Milford “Bear” Butcher, 68, was found guilty of two counts of child rape and six counts of child molestation.

Butcher, who was charged in 2015, sexually abused two young girls and a boy at his home on the 3700 block of North Brooks Road, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
