Education notebook: Ferris, G-Prep students semifinalists in National Merit Scholarship Program

Jacob M. Erdman, of Ferris High School, and Jakob P. Nordhagen, of Gonzaga Prep, are semifinalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. About 16,000 high school seniors were selected in September, and in February the National Merit Scholarship Corporation will announce the 7,500 finalists

Innovation to present ‘Annie’

Innovation High School, a charter school in Spokane, will present “Annie” today and Friday. Both shows are 7:30-10:30 p.m. at 811 E. Sprague Ave., Suite A. Admission is free, but donations are accepted. Concessions are available.
