Winter bird viewing on Saturday
Fri., Feb. 9, 2018
BIRDING – Come see tens of thousands of migrating ducks and geese at the McNary National Wildlife Refuge on Saturday.
Viewers can watch the birds from a newly constructed bird blind. The blind’s grand opening will start at 9:15 a.m.
Additionally, there will be guided birding tours led by refuge staff and the Lower Columbia Basin Audubon Society, as well as a presentation by professional nature photographer Larry Umthum.
The McNary National Wildlife Refuge is two hours from Spokane (64 Maple Street, Burbank).
