Morning prep roundup: Jake Wells scores 25 and Pullman beats Cheney

Boys basketball: Jake Wells scored 25 and the Greyhounds (3-0 GNL) beat the Blackhawks (1-2) 65-47.

Jake Berman had 17 for Cheney.

Maguire Isaak scored 30 points to lead the Warriors (3-1 NEA1B) past the Redskins (3-2) 66-58 in a Northeast 1B league game.

Butch Flett scored 10 with 10 rebounds and seven blocks for Wellpinit.

Girls basketball: Maisie Burnham scored 24 points and the Lancers (4-1 NE2B) raced past the Panthers (1-3) 56-16 in a Northeast 2B league game.

Myka Lee scored eight to lead Asotin.

Wrestling: Amir Nuriddeen turned the tables, pinning Ryder Goff at 1:36 to break a 35-35 tie as the Stags edged the Indians in a Northeast 1A league wrestling dual. Goff defeated Nuriddeen last weekend.

Gymnastics: The Bears, led by all-around runner-up Rebekah Ross, placed three in the overall top 5 to take team honors.

The Saxons’ Jessica Harpel placed in all four categories to win the all-around.
