2 dead following collision with pickup driver fleeing police

NAMPA, Idaho – Authorities in southwestern Idaho say two occupants of a passenger car died after a person in a pickup fleeing from police crashed into them.

Idaho State Police say the crash happened at about 12:20 a.m. Saturday in Nampa.

Police say the driver of the pickup was transported to a hospital in Nampa where he was treated, and then booked into the Canyon County Jail on what authorities say are multiple criminal charges.

Police say the occupants of the passenger vehicle died at the scene.

Names haven’t been released.
