Prep volleyball roundup: Pullman downs Cheney, Clarkston topples West Valley in Great Northern League matches

Pullman def. Cheney (25-12, 25-10, 25-19): India Rahmani collected five aces and the Greyhounds (11-1, 9-1) defeated the visiting Blackhawks (5-7, 3-7) 3-0 on Saturday.

Clarkston def. West Valley (25-15, 25-13, 26-24): Sydney Harrich tallied six aces and 14 digs and Clarkston (6-5, 5-4) defeated visiting West Valley (0-10, 0-12).

Idaho 5A District 1-2 first-round

Lewiston def. Coeur d’Alene (25-27, 25-22, 25-22, 14-25, 15-11): Hally Wells had 11 kills and Morgan Moran added 17 digs as the Bengals (1-5) defeated the Vikings (4-3).

Nonleague

St. Maries def. Grangeville (25-22, 25-11, 25-17): Kari Hapg had 17 kills and four aces and the visiting Lumberjacks (8-4) beat the Bulldogs (0-1).

Ferris def. Colsax (25-18, 25-23, 25-16): Katelyn Brock had 26 assists with four blocks and the visiting Saxons (8-3, 4-3) beat the Bulldogs (8-4, 7-1).

Valley Christian def. Curlew (25-9, 25-16, 25-17): Phoebe Trigsted tallied 24 assists and four digs and the visiting Panthers (5-3) defeated the Cougars (5-3).

Cusick def. Harrington (25-15, 25-12, 23-25, 25-12): Taylor Allen tallied 10 kills with eight digs and the visiting Cusick (2-8) defeated the Harrington (0-9).

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague def. Royal (25-21, 14-25, 21-25, 14-25): Eliza Galbreath had 13 kills and six aces and the Broncos (5-6) beat the visiting Knights (4-7).

Medical Lake def. Rogers (25-20, 25-11, 21-25, 25-13): Megan Goertz had 30 blocks and the Cardinals (3-9) beat the Pirates (1-12).
