The Bower Climbing Coalition, a Spokane climbing nonprofit, is hosting a cleanup of the Dishman climbing area near the Dishman Hills Conservation Area.

One downside of the popular climbing area being minutes from downtown Spokane is that trash accumulates quickly. Normally, the BCC does crag cleanups in the spring, but because of the trash problem at Dishman they scheduled one this fall.

The cleanup day will be on Oct. 21 at 10 a.m. Bring boots, pants, gloves and a water bottle. Some beverages will be provided.

Please park in the large parking lot at Camp Caro. There is not enough parking directly at the crag pullout.
