Veteran Resource and Job Fair - Representatives from local veteran organizations, community organizations, the Spokane Vet Center and the Department of Veterans Affairs will provide resources and employment opportunities to veterans. Community partners will also offer cold weather gear to any veterans experiencing homelessness. 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Grant County Fairgrounds, 3953 Airway Dr., Moses Lake.

Annual Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Conference - Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Advisory Board, Monday-Friday, Spokane Convention Center, 700 attendees.

Spokane Mission Training and Junior Meeting - American Legion Auxiliary, Saturday, DoubleTree by Hilton Spokane City Center, 60 attendees.

Washington Association of County Officials Annual Conference - Washington Association of County Officials, Sept. 30-Oct. 5, The Davenport Hotel, 150 attendees.
