The Washington Food Industry Association has awarded Jeff Philipps, president and CEO of Rosauers, the 2018-19 Community Service Award. The award honors individuals in the grocery industry who exemplify the highest standards of service in both business and community to positively influence and enhance the lives of others. Additionally, the association named Tim Harper and Ben Piatt of Franz Bakery in Spokane the recipients of the 2018-19 Vendor of the Year Award, recognizing their dedication and support to independent grocers and convenience stores in Washington state.

Shannon Oakley, manager of the Spokane Cleaning Authority, has been named 2018 national Manager of the Year. Local owner Mark Silver was awarded the national Mark of Excellence for 2018, an honor recognizing the top 10% of the Cleaning Authority’s 240 offices in the U.S. and Canada based on customer service, market dominance and customer retention. This is the 15th consecutive year the Spokane Cleaning Authority has been recognized with the Mark of Excellence.
Critical Power Products and Services in Post Falls has promoted Bryan Sale from project manager to sales manager. Sale worked previously at Sprint in Bellevue, where he was responsible for managing sales teams in three states.
