Architecture

Bernardo|Wills Architects has hired Robert Soderstrom as an architect and Chad Kilmer as a technician. Soderstrom has 30 years of experience in architecture, and Kilmer has 25 years of drafting experience.

Banking

Spokane Teachers Credit Union has named Jeff Perkins to the STCU Board of Directors. Perkins is an operations manager for Triple E Technologies in Post Falls and previously served on the STCU board advisory committee.

Several Spokane Banner Bank employees have received the Banner’s Best award for surpassing their individual professional goals in 2018 and providing exceptional customer service. They are: Dustin Balam, personal banker, internet branch; Rachelle Green, digital product manager II; Derik Grindy, regional facilities manager; Kristin Haile, total rewards director, human resources; Kelly Kampmann, business analyst, commercial banking; Chad Kubik, mortgage loan officer; Ashley Lyon, recruiter, human resources; Linnea McColgin, personal banker, internet branch; Mindy Muller, compensation analyst, human resources; Tiffany Seeds, operations supervisor; Hussam Shaqhan, personal banker, Spokane Division Street branch; Jason Suk, digital market research manager; Liz Sumner, treasury management sales consultant, treasury; and Michelle Wickwire, commercial relationship manager Less than 4% of Banner Bank employees receive the award. Recipients are selected by members of executive leadership.

Conservation

The Land Trust Accreditation Commission recognized Inland Northwest Land Conservancy as an accredited land trust. The organization was formed in 1991 and protects more than 20,000 acres in Eastern Washington and northern Idaho.

Engineering

Trindera Engineering has hired Cody Litzko and electrical engineer Bobby Le Nguyen to the municipal and automation group for water and wastewater projects. Nick Zito has been hired as an automation engineer, and Sherise Nimmo has joined the company’s Hayden office as office manager.

Insurance

Spokane PayneWest Insurance employees Lei Ann Cross, sale executive, and Amber Rucker, account manager, have received the Safeco Outstanding Agent Recognition Award for 2019, noting their commitment to customer service and performance.

Land Surveying

Sawtooth Land Surveying has hired Mark Duffner to manage its new Coeur d’Alene office. Duffner has 30 years of experience in land surveying.

Honors

Post Falls-based Pointe Pest Control has been ranked 10th in the medium employers category – companies with 50-99 employees – of the Best Places to Work in Idaho. Honorees are determined by their employee satisfaction and feedback which is compiled from anonymous survey results voluntarily provided by employees.

Spokane Youth Sports Association has inducted Richard and Carol Wendle and Merle Iverson into the SYSA Hall of Fame in recognition of outstanding service and commitment to youths in the Spokane area.
