Two opportunistic shredders took full advantage of this week’s snowstorm.

Mike Brede and Larry Banks skied and boarded from High Drive to Hangman Creek on Tuesday. The duo did three laps for a total of 1,300 vertical feet.

“Not bad for skiing in town,” Brede said in a message. “Snow quality was fantastic, but obviously no firm base.”

He expects the skiing to be better Thursday and Friday with Tuesday’s warmer temperatures settling the base layer of snow.
