70th anniversary: Patti and Roy Hoekema

Patti and Roy Hoekema celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a dinner on June 25 at Chepo’s Restaurant in Wasilla, Alaska.

Hosts for the event included their children and spouses: Molly Palmer; Charlotte and Mike Rancourt; and Paul Hoekema, all of Wasilla, Alaska.

The couple were married June 25, 1949, in Spokane. They have 10 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
