Man in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times in Logan neighborhood
A 38-year-old man is in critical condition after Spokane police say he was stabbed multiple times after getting into an argument.
Daniel M. Glanville, 30, was arrested and booked into Spokane County Jail Wednesday evening on a recommended charge of first-degree assault.
Police said Glanville and the victim began arguing at about 6 p.m. as the 38-year-old awaited a tow truck near Cincinnati Street and Ermina Avenue. Officers responded to reports that both men allegedly assaulted each other. However, police found no evidence of assault and advised the men to leave each other alone.
About an hour later, according to a news release, a stabbing was reported. Officers found the victim bleeding profusely from “several stab wounds” on his side. He was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Glanville was detained. Police believe the two began arguing again after officers left the scene.
Police ask anyone who witnessed the incident to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233 and reference report number 2019-20102914.
