Montana wins 5th consecutive Badlands Bowl against North Dakota

Montana took on North Dakota in Miles City on Saturday night. Montana came in looking for its 5th straight win against North Dakota. North Dakota would strike first. Cade Busek pounded it in on the quarterback keeper to put six on the board. Then, Montana back against their own end zone and their pass is tipped by Tanner Thorsness. Luke Lennon intercepted it at the line of scrimmage, breaks tackles, and runs it back for the touchdown. North Dakota would take their 14-0 lead over Montana going into the half. The second half would be a different story. Bozeman’s Kris Brown completed the pass to Hamilton’s Camron Rothie. He would make two miss and put Montana on the board. From there it was the Jesse Owens show. The Golden Bear from West High caught three touchdowns in the second half, dodging North Dakota defenders to extend short plays into the end zone. Montana would score 41 unanswered points to win their 5th straight Badlands Bowl over North Dakota, 41-14.
