Detectives have identified a suspect in the March 1 armed robbery of a Subway restaurant in Spokane Valley and are asking for help locating him.
Police say Matthew D. Gardner, 34, robbed the Subway at 2114 N. Pines Road with a knife, but no one was hurt. He demanded money from the clerk, stealing an unknown amount from the register.
Gardner fled the Subway on foot, according to a news release from the Spokane Valley Sheriff’s Office.
