Upcycled Life: Go creepy or classic with found object bottle stoppers
Rummage in the back of your junk drawer for found objects to create cork stoppers that set the tone for your creepy or classic party. Reusing jars and bottles is great for reducing waste and dressing up your party concoctions.
Start out by collecting trinkets and small objects like old toy parts, game pieces and everyday things you enjoy. This was a perfect opportunity for me to riffle through all of the drawers at Art Salvage.
Look for items with holes like spools and large beads or objects like knobs and trophy parts that already have a threaded screw. Avoid heavy items that will be difficult to attach or throw off the balance of your bottle.

Drill a small hole into a cork and attach the item with a screw or small peg and glue if needed.
Other small objects with a smooth surface area can be glued right onto a tapered cork or a wine cork you already have. Don’t forget about using beakers and test tubes for your party spread.
