Land development firm Verdis in Coeur d’Alene has hired Jason Mazzuca and Robbie Dietrich as construction superintendents. Mazzuca is a licensed journeyman plumber with 20 years of experience in construction and Dietrich is a foreman with more than 18 years of construction experience.

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories in Pullman has promoted Gerardo Urrea to vice president of sales and customer service and Sai Raghupathula to vice president of engineering services. Urrea joined SEL in 2003 and has served as a protection design engineer, sales and custom service business director and regional sales and services director. Raghupathula joined the company in 2004 and has served as an engineer, engineering services regional director and senior engineering director of Secure Solutions.

Cancer Care Northwest is opening a full-time oncology and hematology clinic in the Gritman Medical Office Building in Moscow, Idaho. The clinic will be staffed by medical oncologist Srijana Rai and nurse practitioner Megan E. O’Neil. Rai is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and recently completed a fellowship in hematology/oncology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. O’Neil is a certified family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Financial institution and nonprofit organization Craft3 in Spokane has hired Megan Hulsey as a business lender. Hulsey previously provided entrepreneur assistance, brokered relationships and ran educational events at StartUp Spokane.

Jason Piskel, Ryan Yahne and Nicholas Kovarik, three founding members of the law firm Piskel Yahne Kovarik in Spokane, have been recognized as 2019 Super Lawyers by Super Lawyers Magazine. Piskel and Yahne were recognized in the area of construction litigation and Kovarik was named in the area of general litigation.
