Motorcyclist dies in Spokane Valley collision

A motorcyclist died in a collision with a Hummer in Spokane Valley Tuesday night.

The crash occurred near East 4th Avenue and South McKinnon Road around 5:40 p.m., according to dispatch records.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said the Hummer was attempting to turn when the motorcyclist hit the driver’s side door, which sent the man into the air and then into some large rocks, KHQ reported.

The motorcyclist who died was a man in his 20s, KHQ reported.
