Man who died after rolling truck in Airway Heights identified

The Spokane County Medical Examiner identified man who died in a car crash Tuesday night in Airway Heights as 46-year-old Anthony Barr.

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said Barr’s pickup truck rolled and he was thrown from his vehicle on Rambo Road near Airway Heights. He died from multiple blunt injuries near the intersection with Deno Road, according to the medical examiner’s office.

An initial review of the scene indicated the driver had been speeding southbound when the vehicle drifted onto the shoulder and overcorrected twice, causing the vehicle to roll, the sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office said the driver had not been wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
