Alliant Insurance Services acquires Pend Oreille Insurance in Idaho

Newport Beach, California-based Alliant Insurance Services announced Tuesday it has acquired Pend Oreille Insurance.

“The Pend Oreille name has long been synonymous with strong service, local expertise, and strong dedication to providing a customized, personal touch,” Tom Corbett, chairman and CEO of Alliant, said in a statement. “The firm’s proven strength across markets will provide an additional layer of strength to our team in the Inland Northwest, further expanding our footprint in the region.”

Pend Oreille Insurance, owned by Stefanie Nostdahl and Jodie Corless, provides insurance services to clients in Idaho, Washington, Montana, California, Arizona and Colorado.

Pend Oreille Insurance employees will operate under the Alliant name and serve customers from their Ponderay, Idaho, office.

Alliant Insurance Services has completed several acquisitions in the Northwest, including that of longtime Spokane insurance agency, Buck & Affiliates.

Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
