3 El Mercadito – A monthly cultural market that provides free, fresh cultural foods to the community, access to health care services through CHAS Health clinic, and a vibrant multicultural food destination in Spokane. 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Saturday. Liberty Park, 402 S. Pittsburg St. Admission: Free.

4 Nathan James Paper Flower Exhibition – View handmade paper flower art from Nathan James Floral Paperie Pop-up. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday. The Ivory Table, 1822 E. Sprague Ave. Admission: Free.

5 Northeast Washington Mushroom Festival –This festival features a mushroom foray hunt and contests, mushroom and fungi identification table, presentations by mycologists, demonstrations, children’s activities, live music, art and costume contests with more than 40 vendors. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday. 6 Craft and Vendor Fair: Moms, Memorial and More – This fair will feature crafted items from over 20 local vendors. 11:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Saturday. Spokane Valley Library, 22 N. Herald Road, Spokane Valley.

7 Birding Walk with the Spokane Audubon Society: Saltese Flats Wetlands – During this birding walk, explore the identification of birds, binocular set up, and resources that can be used when birding. 8-11 a.m. Saturday. Saltese Flats Wetland Area, 1330 S. Henry Road, Greenacres. Free.

8 Bloomsday 50th Block Party at Kendall Yards – Featuring four live music stages, free post-race care at each stage, food vendors, patio seating with drink options and a passport program to win concert tickets. 1-4 p.m. Sunday. 1335 W. Summit Parkway. Free.

9 14 Million Miles: 50 Years of Bloomsday – Highlights include a finisher T-shirt from each year, a pair of Nike-sponsored Bloomsday running shoes, an unofficial COVID-19-era race T-shirt and a rich array of photography capturing moments from 1977 to the present. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
