The Women of the Auction World
The International Auctioneer Championships were held in Spokane this week, with practitioners laying down their rapid-fire patter for judges at the National Auctioneer Association convention at the Spokane Convention Center. After the junior divison, the women's division started up Friday, July 20, with more than 20 contestants. Auctioneer Regina Andrijeski talks about her entry into the world of auctioneering. Female auctioneers are less than 10 percent of the auction business.
