House pulls ‘nexus’ bill back to Rev & Tax; Moyle says new tax bill coming Monday
The House has just unanimously agreed to pull HB 581, the “nexus” bill regarding online sales taxes, from its amending order and send it back to the Revenue & Taxation Committee. “There will be a new bill on Monday,” said House Majority Leader Mike Moyle, R-Star.
Moyle had said he planned to amend HB 581 to splice in the provisions of HB 380, his tax-cut bill that would lower top individual income tax rates and corporate income tax rates while raising the grocery tax credit for low-income Idahoans. That bill was killed yesterday in the Senate Local Government & Taxation Committee.
